(54) DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING BIRD'S CARRIERS ON SUSPENDED WAYS

The invention relates to a technique for the production of poultry products in the meat industry.

At present, there are no devices in the poultry processing industry for feeding birds to the outboard ways. It is known that a bird is placed on a hanging path manually 1.

However, this operation is labor-intensive in the production of poultry products.

In order to facilitate this operation, a device has been proposed for feeding bird ducts to outboard ways, consisting of a feeding conveyor with a chute and an adjoining conveyor carrying U-shaped plates with clamping mechanisms for capturing bird carcasses.

FIG. 1 shows a device for feeding bird pushers to outboard ways, front view; in fig. 2 - the same, top view; on fig. 3 shows section A-A in FIG. one.

The device for feeding ducks birds on the suspension paths consists of a belt conveyor 1 with a chute 2 and an adjacent conveyor 3 with U-shaped plates 4.

The plate conveyor 3 has guides 5 for rollers 6, stiffening ribs 7 for guides 5, strips 8 of sheet steel are welded to guides 5 and form grooves 10 for the legs of birds with the central guide 9.

A combination of rods 11-13 is used to support the central guide.

When the tensioning device 14 is in operation, in order to eliminate the additional stresses, there are two bows 15 and a fixture 16 compensating the tensioning device movement, made in the form of a knife in knives.

The U-shaped plates 4 have clamping mechanisms 17 for gripping birds, rollers 18, which serve simultaneously as rollers for chains 19 and guide rollers 6.

The drive is carried by a chain drive 20 from the drive shaft of the belt conveyor 21.

The hydraulic actuator consists of a hydraulic motor 22, a three-way spool 23 with electromagnetic control, an adjustable throttle 24, a safety valve 25, a hydraulic tank 26, a pump 27, pipelines 2.

On the upper horizontal part of the plate conveyor, there is a breaking lever 29 and a turning lever 30. To prevent movement back, a ratchet brake 31 is provided mounted on the shaft of the tensioning station.

The device works as follows.

The bird, getting on the conveyor belt 1, follows along the chute 2 to the plate conveyor 3, which picks it up by the clamping mechanisms 17 and transports upwards along a semicircle to the upper horizontal part. Moreover, the legs of the bird protrude into two special grooves 10 and go to the end of the upper horizontal part of the conveyor, where one of them is crossed by two levers 29 and 30 of the drive - deactivating and activating, installed at the entrance and exit of the upper horizontal part of the conveyor. A transported bird with its legs protruding above the surface of the conveyor pushes the first lever 29, which turns off the drive. Conveyor 1 is stopped. A backward movement prevents snoring brakes 31 mounted on the tension device shaft 14. Suspension of the conveyor line (not shown), the passage along the guides of the upper horizontal part picks up the bird’s protruding legs and follows further on technological operations, while the lever 30 moves back including drive.

The proposed device allows for the abolition of manual labor in the birdwatching area in the bird line.
