The invention relates to equipment for the forest industry and forestry, in particular, to a device for separating wood greens from felled trees, and can preferably be used in the production of vitamin flour, as well as process chips.

Devices are known for separating wood greenery from the crowns of trees, including a roller or caterpillar type feeding mechanism, a heat chamber and a drum 1J rotating inside it.

The disadvantage of such devices is that when the crown is fed, the rollers or tracks, with their hooks (or grooves), remove the bark, which falls into the green, reducing its quality.

It is also known a device for separating wood greenery from a felled tree crown, including a heat chamber, a working member in the form of a driving drum mounted inside the heat chamber, and a hopper 2J.

This device has no active mechanism for directly feeding the crown to the drive drum. Crohn because of its ramification hangs on the walls of the loading hopper and heavy manual labor is used to iodine it into the drum.

With this implementation of the loading hopper, the size of the supplied crown is strictly limited in length, which requires its preliminary preparation and additional

The device contains a heat chamber 1, a working body in the form of a drip drum 2 mounted in a heat chamber, a hopper 3 for feeding crown 4 and an actuator 5. The hopper 3 in the lower part has a transverse nozzle 6 located along the longitudinal axis of the drum 2. In nozzle 6 a slider is movably mounted 7 interacting with a fixed knife 8 fixed at the inlet of the nozzle 6 into the heat chamber 1. A receiving bin 9 serves to collect the separated greens.

A device for separating wood greens works as follows.

Crown 4 is fed into the hopper 3. The slider 7, moving reciprocatingly through the nozzle 6, slides the crown 4 onto the knife 8, which cuts it into separate segments. With the same slider 7, the crown sections are pushed into the drum 2 covered by the heat chamber 1. Then the slider 7 returns to its original position, and the crown reload cycle is repeated.

In drum 2, due to the fact that the crown is supplied in the form of segments, it is well shifted and washed by the supplied coolant. The green on the crown dries out completely and separates into the receiving bin 9, and the remaining bark from the bark falls out of the drum 2 and is sent for processing into chips.

As a result of supplying the hopper 3 with a transverse nozzle 6 with a knife 8 and a slider 7, heavy manual labor is eliminated by loading the crown into the drum 2, the end of the drum 2 on the loading side is closed by the heat chamber 1, which ensures that the temperature of the coolant is maintained. In addition, the device allows the processing of a crown of almost any length. All this greatly increases the efficiency of the device as a whole.
