Изменение плотности дымки, налагаемой на объект наблюдени , достигаетс изменениел- времени пребывали белой поверхности зубцов перед глазом наблюдател , дл чего отношение ширины просветов к ширине зубцов сделано переменным вдоль радиуса диска.
