The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in the power supply circuits of various radio engineering equipment. Basically auth. St. 652548 describes a ferroresonant AC voltage regulator containing a linear choke with a compensation winding connected between the first input terminal and the resonant current circuit consisting of an autotransformer, in parallel with which the chain is connected, from the capacitor and the main winding of the drossel filter, one of the terminals of which is additional winding connected to the first output terminal, and compensating winding of the linear throttle is connected by one pin to the point of connection of the linear throttle and autotransformer pa, and the other to the second output pin, and the additional winding of the filter throttles is additionally equipped with a tap connected to the resonant current loop, and the other output of the additional winding of the filter throttles is connected to the second input terminal. A disadvantage of this device is low efficiency. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the device. The goal is achieved by the fact that the ferroresonant alternating voltage stabilizer is equipped with a switch controlled depending on the change of the load current, the input terminals of which are connected to the tapes of the autotransformer, and the output terminal is connected to the capacitor circuit and the main winding of the drossel filter. The drawing shows the electrical circuit of the device. A ferroresonant AC voltage regulator has input terminals 1.2, connected to an AC source, the voltage of which can vary widely, output terminals 3.4 to connect a load whose power can vary widely, from nominal to side minimum values. A line choke 5 is connected in series with an oscillating circuit, a current consisting of an autotransformer 6, a filter choke 7 and a capacitor 8 operating in resonance with the fundamental frequency.
