Abstract

FIELD: aerodynamics. SUBSTANCE: device has airfoil surfaces hinged to stiff frame and coupled with operating mechanism; in addition, it is provided with other airfoil surfaces placed in one plane and each coupled with separate operating mechanism; surfaces are interconnected through control mechanism incorporating flow wash sensor and placed on each airfoil surface. Device is characterized in that its airfoil surfaces are coupled with frame through flexible hinges and with operating mechanism, through flexible links. EFFECT: improved accuracy of experimental results due to more complete and accurate simulation of atmospheric gust in wind tunnel.
