A device for quality control of spot and seam welding with the use of measuring elements that convert the magnitude of the displacement of electrodes into an electrical signal and contain a displacement sensor mounted on a moving head of an electrode compression drive, a matching device, a power amplifier, a driver, a comparison unit and a defect detection unit 1 is known. .

The evaluation of the quality of welding is determined by the technological features, the type of equipment, the thickness and the brand of materials being welded, which is one of the drawbacks of the known device. In addition, this device is not sufficiently reliable when conducting welding on machines with low rigidity of the secondary circuit, in the presence of significant forces of friction and inertia in moving parts of the scooter mechanism.

The aim of the invention is to improve the reliability of quality control of spot and seam welding, regardless of the design and technological features of the equipment, welding conditions and thickness of the welded materials.

This goal is achieved by the fact that, in the proposed device, the monitoring sensor is made in the form of an electrokinetic acceleration converter, which is oriented perpendicular to the surface of the welded parts with its axis and is rigidly connected to the movable electrode of the maschine.

The device consists of a control sensor 1, a matching device 2, a power amplifier 3, a power supply unit 4, a driver 5, a comparison unit 6 and a defect detection unit 7. Weldable parts 8 are clamped between electrodes 9 and 10.

The device works as follows.
