Description
(54) METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE DEGREE OF THE STRENGTH OF MULTI-BREAKING GROUND
This invention relates to the field of determining its physical and mechanical soil. There is a method of determining the degree of weathering of debris of coarse-grained soil, including sampling of the soil under study, its weighing, fractionation into two fractions, followed by testing for weathering of the mixture of fractions, repeated weighing, fractionation and determination of the degree of weathering by the ratio of the fractions before and after testing for weathering. The known method is the impossibility of using it to determine the time of extraction of coarse-grained soil to fine-grained fractions, As a rule, they contain the greatest amount of clay particles, which makes it impossible to assess the suitability of the soil under study for hydraulic engineering. Of the known methods, the method that is closest to the proposed invention is one that includes the same sampling, fractionation, weathering, and re-fractionation operations. where the weathering test is controlled depending on the type of soil 2. However, this method also does not allow to determine the time during which the test soil is destroyed to fine-grained fractions. The purpose of the invention is the definition; time of weathering of the soil. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the method of determining the degree of weathering of coarse-grained soil by sampling the soil and testing it for weathering, the soil sample is fractionated using 10–12 fractions, each fraction is subjected to weathering until the weighted average diameter of the resulting mixture will be equal to half the maximum size of the fraction, and according to the weathering time of the fractions and their diameters, the weathering intensity coefficient of the test soil is determined, and is read by the formula: c: 6 and -Misi where t - time of lot weathering
до заданного диаметра; t,- врем выветривани наиболее крупной фракции до смеси, средневзвешенный диаметр которой равен половине максимального размера фракции; Т- коэффициент интенсивности выветривани испытываемого грунта, - максимальный размер наиболее крупной фракции; d - заданный диаметр.up to a given diameter; t, is the weathering time of the largest fraction to a mixture, the weighted average diameter of which is equal to half the maximum size of the fraction; T is the coefficient of weathering intensity of the test soil, is the maximum size of the largest fraction; d is the specified diameter.
0,1; 0,1-0,25; 0,25-0,5;...The method is carried out in the following way: a sample of coarse-grained soil is taken, its weight is measured and fractionated into 10-12 fractions with a particle size of 0.1; 0.1-0.25; 0.25-0.5; ...
и т. 1),.10-20 mm. etc; each fraction is tested for weathering in field or laboratory catches (for example, by alternating soaking and drying) the duration of the process is determined by the size of the fractions: for fractions of 40-60 mm in size, the test time is approximately 8 hours or 1-2 stages of drying and soaking for small fractions - much more; during the test, each fraction is transformed into a mixed-grain mixture, which is weighed, fractionated to a particle size of 0.1 mm, and the average particle diameter of the mixture is determined; the weathering test of each fraction is carried out until the weighted average diameter of the mixture becomes half the maximum size of the fraction, for example when testing a fraction of 60-40 mm, the weighted average diameter of the mixture formed from this fraction should be equal to 30 mm. Then, the intensity coefficient in the winding of the test soil is determined, for which a graph is plotted on which the logarithm of the maximum fraction size tnd is plotted on the abscissa axis and the logarithm of the time or cycles during which the weighted average diameters of the resulting mixtures have reached half the values on the ordinate axis maximum sizes of initial fractions (see fig. 1),
Коэффициент интенсивности выветривани грунта tr определ етс как тангенс угла наклона логарифмического графика 6Ч | врем выветривани испытываемого грунта до заданного диаметра , например до диаметра, равного 0,1 мм, определ етс по формуле: -сг€н ,The soil weathering intensity factor, tr, is defined as the slope of the log plot 6H | the time of weathering of the test soil to a predetermined diameter, for example, a diameter of 0.1 mm, is determined by the formula:
