The invention relates to radio engineering devices, in particular, to a technique for measuring pulse signals. A wideband amplitude discriminator is known, containing a trigger on a tunnel diode, a separation diode connected between the trigger output and the input of an amplifier stage on a transistor, a reset current generator connected to trigger 1. A disadvantage of the known discriminator is complexity, low speed and low noise immunity. The purpose of the present invention is to increase the speed and noise immunity. For this purpose, a source of blocking voltage, a resistor and a polling pulse generator are introduced into the wideband amplitude discriminator, the junction of the resistor and the polling pulse generator is connected to the input of the amplifier cascade. In addition, the amplifier cascade is made according to the scheme with a common base connected to the source voltage. The proposed wideband amplitude discriminator is shown in FIG. one; in fig. Figure 2 shows the volt-ampere characteristic of a tunnel diode and the forward-voltage characteristics of the discriminator operating principle. The discriminator contains a trigger 1 on a tunnel diode 2, a bias current generator 3, a reset current generator 4, a coupling diode 5 connected between trigger 1 and an amplifier stage 6 on a transistor 7 connected according to a common base, and the control transition of the transistor is connected opposite to the separation diode 5, and a constant bias from source 8 is applied to the base. The collector load of the transistor is a resistor 9. A common point of the coupling diode 5 and the control junction of the transistor 7 is connected to a generator of 10 polling current pulses and series-connected resistor 11 and a blocking source 12 Kj of the OK state at the working point of the tunnel diode 2 due to a high offset Oscillator 3 is located on the tunneling power (point b of Fig. 2) and characterizes the first steady state of trigger 1. Split diode 5 and emitter junction of the transistor 7 are closed by a source 12 of the locking n Apr same, acting through the resistor I.
With the arrival of an input pulse, the amplitude of which is less than the trigger threshold, the operating point on the current-voltage characteristic of tunnel diode 2 shifts from point 1 to point 2 and back.
Thus, trigger 1 remains in a steady state.
Ток опроса поступает в эмиттер транзистора и на его коллекторе образуетс импульс напр жени .with the arrival of the negative polling pulse from the generator 10, the emitter potential of the transistor 7 decreases so much that the control transition of the transistor 7 opens. The interrogation current enters the emitter of the transistor and a voltage pulse is generated at its collector.
1.The presence of a pulse at the output of the amplifier stage 6 in the polling corresponds to the first state of the trigger 1.
The separation diode in the process of polling remains almost close to 1m, since the emitter voltage of the transistor due to the source of the Ka 8 bias at the base of the transistor 7 remains with less voltage from the output of this diode.
1.When an input pulse is fed to the trigger input 1, which is greater than its trigger threshold 1 ™, the tunnel diode 2 is switched, followed by successive switching of the operating point 1 according to the diode characteristic to point 3 and further to point 4 (Fig. 2). Point 4 harshterizes the second steady state of the trigger 1.
With the advent of the survey pulse, it received
эмиттера транзистора 7 понижаетс , что приводит к открыванию разделительного диода 5 иthe emitter of the transistor 7 is lowered, which leads to the opening of the separation diode 5 and
2).the entire current of the interrogation enters the tunnel diode, which is shown in the time diagrams and in the voltage-current characteristic of the tunnel diode - point 5 (Fig. 2).
Thus, the emitter junction of the transistor 7 remains closed and does not form at the pulse output, which corresponds to the second steady state of the trigger.
The reset is reset to the initial state after each polling by the generator of 4 reset pulses.
