Description

Known methods for producing straw briquettes and other similar materials without binding substances at high temperatures lead to the internal burning of the briquette and make it unsuitable as a feed material.

The described method and apparatus for continuous briquetting of straw, etc. of materials without binding substances is characterized in that in order to cool the dried material before it is briquetted, cooled exhaust gases are passed through the material in the cooling chamber used for this purpose between the drying a drum and a press of the device, thereby preventing the internal ignition of the briquetted materials and maintaining their feed quality.

1. A method of briquetting straw and similar materials with preliminary drying with their flue gases, characterized in that in order to cool the material dried to a moisture content of 12-17% before briquetting, the flue gases cooled during the drying process are passed through the material outside the dryer drum or in a special cooler. 2. A device for carrying out the method according to claim 1, consisting of a drying drum and a device for briquetting, which is equipped with a cooling chamber 4 located between the drying drum and the briquetting press.
