Description

(54) DEVICE FOR CREATING A LOW-FREQUENCY ACOUSTIC FIELD IN A LIQUID

The invention relates to ultrasound technology and can be used in a hydroacoustic system to create low-frequency acoustic fields in a liquid by parametric interaction of two-frequency waves. Known ultrasonic systems for parametric emission of & They are piezoelectric plates that contact one side with liquid Ll. The plates of the plate simultaneously supply the voltage of two frequencies f, and f. The piezoplastin radiates two waves with different frequencies. By parametric interaction of these waves in a liquid, a wave of different frequency is formed, the pressure amplitude of which depends on the amplitudes of the pressures in the original waves, speeds and absorption coefficient of elastic waves in the liquid. The disadvantage of such a system for obtaining a differential frequency wave is the ineffective efficiency with relatively large areas of the formation of a differential wave. The closest in technical essence and the achieved result to the invention is a system in which a piezo-plate is loaded onto a tube with a liquid, whose wave propagation velocity is less than the sound velocity in water 2. The fluid in the tube is separated from the water by a thin acoustic membrane. The plane waves of the original frequencies f and f 2 radiate into the tube, where they interact with each other. As a result of the interaction, a differential frequency wave arises, f, which passes through a sound-transparent membrane and then propagates in the working fluid. The device is a tube, on one side of which a piezoelectric element is attached, and the other end is closed by a sound-transparent membrane. The disadvantage of such a system for producing a differential frequency wave is the low energy conversion coefficient.
