Description
The paulnik consists of a rod 1 made of metal ceramics (MV-65), which has a thermal conductivity close to that of copper, and a higher resistance than copper to dissolution when working with hard solders of the PSR-40KN type and fluorine fluxes. The rod 1 is covered by two heaters 2, having the form of semirings made of graphite-based ceramics (K70 / 30-3), which has high mechanical strength relative to graphite at both low and high temperatures. Ceramics of this type are easily processed, and also have a higher electrical resistivity than graphite.
An electric current is supplied to the heater 2 by two electrodes 3 of a heat-resistant alloy, the lower part of which covers the outer contour of each half-ring. A layer of heat-resistant dielectric 4 (e.g., mica) is superimposed on the outer contour of the electrodes 3 in order to reduce heat transfer to the environment and electrical insulation from the metal wire band 5, which serves to tighten all incoming parts of the blade into a single unit. The upper part of the electrodes 3 is connected by means of the grooves 6 to current-carrying women with a handle (not shown in the drawings). The angle between the cable and the conductive tires with a handle can be set depending on the working conditions during soldering.
Pa lnik works as follows.
When current flows through heaters 2, heat energy is transferred to the steaming rod 1, which heats up to a temperature close to the temperature of the heaters themselves up to 900 ° C.
2.Since the density of electric current at the contact surface of the burning rod 1 is maximum due to the difference in the contact surface of the inner and outer spheres of the heaters 2, the maximum temperature will be at the point of contact of the welding rod 1 with the heaters 2.
The current sources for the coil can be either a step-down transformer with an output voltage of 2–3 V and a power of 100 W or more, or a chemical source of sufficient power.
The proposed pallet is simple in design and provides soldering with hard solders of the PSR-40-KN type in hard-to-reach places, for example, soldering of connectors of the type “ShR.
The small size of the solder blade allows the ejection of the firing rod 1 to be minimal, which ensures maximum use of the heat energy of the heaters during brazing.
