A disadvantage of the known devices lies in the low efficiency, since they are intended only for feeding timber.

The purpose of the invention is to increase work efficiency and expand technological capabilities.

This is achieved by the fact that each of the saddle rollers is made in the form of two separate truncated cones with independent drives, the levers of each side of the roller table are rigidly connected to each other in a common frame, which is provided with a drive

deviations, and the hinge axis of the levers on the base is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the roller table, and at the entrance and output ends of the roller table on the base are fixed

mechanisms.

The device contains a roller conveyor 1, made in the form of two halves and having a tapered grooved saddle rollers. Each of the half of the roller table is mounted on a separate frame 2, which with the help of levers 3 mounted in bearings

4, is fixed on the base 5, which is mounted on fixed supports 7 by means of racks 6.

Each frame 2 has an actuator 8 for rotating the rollers of the roller table. The frame 2 is deflected by a cylinder 9, the casing of which is hinged on the base 5, and the rod is hinged on the levers 3. At the output end of the roller table are mounted on the base of the photo relay 10, the beam of which crosses the log moved by the roller table.

At the input and output ends of the roller table, locking mechanisms are installed in the form of connecting plugs I, which are driven by mechanisms 12. Log 13 is fed to the roller table by conveyor 14, and removed from the roller table by conveyor 15. The device is installed above the cross conveyor 16 with grippers 17.

The device works as follows.

Both halves of the roller table 1 are in the shifted position and secured with forks 11 of the locking mechanism.

A corresponding button is pressed on the control equipment, as a result of which a beam appears between the photo relay 10, the moving beam crosses the photo beam, the roll table roll drives 8 are turned off, the hooks are lowered by means of the mechanisms 12. Under the action of the hydraulic forces of the nine half of the roller table are deflected, and the beam falls in a vertical plane on the transverse conveyor 16.

When the frames 2 are deflected to the extreme position, the cylinders do not act, and then the frames move. The clips 11 are raised by means of the mechanism MOB 12, the frames are attached to the supports 7. The rollers of the roller table 1 start to rotate from the drives 8. When the log is fed
