Description
The invention relates to medicine and can be applied in endocrinology to determine the functional state of the thyroid gland. A known reagent for the determination of thyroxin-binding capacity of serum proteins, containing an adsorbent, a labeled thyronin derivative, and a buffer solution 1. However, the known reagent provides insufficiently high specificity. The purpose of the invention is to increase the specificity of the reagent. This goal is achieved by the fact that the reagent contains Sephadex G-10 as an adsorbent, triythyronin 3 as a labeled thyronine derivative and 0.05 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.0-7.8) as a buffer solution, the component is taken in the following ratio, in her, h. : Sephadex .G-10 Triiodothyronin 3 2-10-20, 05 M Phosphate buffer 30-100 pH 7.0-7.8 During work, 0.1 ml of the test serum is added to the vials with the proposed reagent. Sifting the vial for 15 minutes and settling the pellets take 0.5 ml of the supernatant to count the pulses. The reagent does not require any special rotators or rockers. Reagent shaking is replaced by simply turning the vials over with a hand every 20-30 seconds. The table presents comparative data on the thyroxin-binding ability of serum proteins (Tz-adsorption) in healthy individuals, in patients with diffuse toxic goiter and hypothyroidism, obtained using the proposed and known reagent and confidence limits at p 0.01 (DGrs). Triiodothyronine adsorption values determined with pays (the proposed reagent values are valuable indicators for characterizing the thyroxin-binding ability of serum proteins and the level of free thyroxin in the blood. They can be used for diagnostic purposes and to observe the effectiveness of treatment for both hyper- and hypofunction of the thyroid gland.
Предлагаемый реактив обеспечивает высокую специфичность и точность определени тироксинсв зывающей способности белков рьшоротки крови- по сравнению с известным реактивом .The proposed reagent provides high specificity and accuracy of the determination of the thyroxin-binding ability of blood-squirrel proteins in comparison with the known reagent.
