The invention relates to drilling equipment. Known dies for seizing pipes, mounted monolithic with a wedge head l. These ppashki not provide uniform coverage of the pipe, as the clamping pipe does not have the correct cylindrical shape. Each die is in contact with the pipe at separate points. Uneven distributed force (in height and length of each ppashki) significantly but reduces the reliability of the pipe grip and eliminates the possibility of working with thin-walled pipes. Closest to the invention was a die containing a cavity and clamping elements inserted into the cavity and movable support elements in the form of balls. The balls fill part of the cavity behind the clamping elements 2J. Otskako this plate has several disadvantages. The occurrence of splitting forces between the balls and the possibility of installing individual balls at the joints of the clamping elements can lead to uneven coverage of the pipe body and uneven distribution of the clamping force. The magnitude of the gripping force and wear resistance is limited by high contact voltages due to point contacts. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the plate by reducing the contact stresses between the elements. This goal is achieved by the fact that the supporting and clamping elements are made of sliding-in-contact prisms installed in rows with each two prisms of clamping elements supported on the prism of the supporting element, and each pair of prisms of supporting elements - on the prism of the next series of supporting elements. Such an arrangement and placement of the support and clamping elements ensures that the clamping force is evenly distributed over the surface of the pipe, regardless of the shape of its surface. In this case, the contact values are reduced significantly. 6 as a result of the contacting of specimens on the basis of prisms. FIG. 1 shows a die of a pipe clamping device, a longitudinal section; in fig. 2 - section A-A of FIG. 1. In the pipe clamping device 1 with wedges 2, an invented pac is inserted, comprising a housing 3, supporting elements 4-8 and clamping elements 9, made in the form of contacting prisms. The clamping elements E are covered with the pipe 10. Under the action of the wedge 2, the body 3 of the die is mixed before meeting any of the clamping elements 9 with the pipe 1O. The first contact 9 with the pipe 10 stops 9, and the housing 3 continues to move. In this case, the prism 8 is supplied by the housing 3 forward to the stopped element 9 and moves downward, pushing forward the other clamping element 9 against the stop into the pipe 1O. Further movement of the housing 3 forward will cause successive displacements of the prisms 7, 6, 5 and 4 until all the clamping elements 9 are in contact with the pipe 10, thereby ensuring its uniform coverage.
