При наличии контролируемого издели  первичное магнитное поле, создаваемое катушкой возбуждени  2, создает в металле вихревые токи, навод ш,ие в измерительной катушке 3 ЭДС, амплитуда которой пропорциональна как контролируемому перемеш,ению металлического издели , так и температуре окружающей среды.
