Description

Pulsed testing of transformers is currently being introduced as one of the elements of the required type tests. The main difficulty of testing is the lack of clear signs of transformer damage. Observing the release of bubbles and smoke on the surface of the oil is not a sufficiently reliable method for determining the presence of damage in a transformer, since bubbles may appear not only as a result of damage, and, conversely, damage during testing may not be accompanied by the release of bubbles. Therefore, one of the reliable methods for detecting damage to transformer windings is considered to be full unwinding of the transformer, since external inspection of the winding after testing usually does not detect damage at all. In addition, it is difficult in some cases to establish damage during unwinding due to the inconspicuous traces of burnout insulation.

This method of damage detection, in addition to its inefficiency, cannot be attributed to the standard test methods for transformers, because the transformers that have passed the test.

должны быть отправлены в зксплоатацию .must be sent into operation.

An indicator of damage to the isolation of a transformer in some cases can be an oscillogram of a pulse wave applied to a transformer. However, the distortion of the linear impulse voltage can occur only during the breakdown of the main insulation, and only near or directly at the linear end. Meanwhile, during pulse testing, the coil insulation of the transformer is mainly damaged. These damages usually do not cause any changes in the shape of the linear potential of the winding.

Предметом насто щего авторского свидетельства  вл етс  приспособление дл  регистрации повреждений обмоток трансформаторов при импульсных испытани х с помощью катодного осциллографа, включенного через емкостный делитель напр жени .The subject of this author's certificate is a device for registering damage to transformer windings during impulse testing using a cathode oscilloscope connected through a capacitive voltage divider.

229According to the invention, a metal plate located inside the casing of the transformer under study is insulated from the casing. It is located along the transformer winding in the electric field created by it. The latter is distributed unevenly along the winding229
