Description
Until now, it was considered that in those cases when the deaf ear had a distance between the hearing threshold and the pain threshold less than the loudness range of speech, the speech parity enhanced by the hearing prosthesis would be very low, as some of the sounds would be inaudible or more amplification of the sounds will cause pain. Therefore, with a large loss of hearing, the use of reinforcing prostheses was difficult because of the possible harm due to the frequent occurrence of pain and the associated changes in the hearing aid. To eliminate this drawback in the proposed auditory prosthesis, a dynamic volume range compresser, already known for its use in radio engineering and electroacoustics, is used, which is placed between the microphone and the speaker.
Таким образом , путем соответствующего сжати имеетс в виду достигнуть возможности уложить нужный диапазон в любое рассто ние между порогом слышимости и болевым порогом .The drawing shows a diagram of the auditory prosthesis. The proposed hearing prosthesis includes a microphone /, amplifier 5, telephone 4 and compressor 2 located between the microphone and the amplifier. Thus, by appropriate compression, it is intended to achieve the ability to fit the desired range to any distance between the hearing threshold and the pain threshold.
The subject matter of the invention.
An acoustic prosthesis using a microphone, an amplifier and a telephone, characterized in that, in order to locate the sound range between the hearing threshold and the pain threshold, the well-known dynamic range compactor is used, connected between the microphone and the amplifier.
