Устройство состоит из неподвижного сосуда-кожуха 5 и двух вращающихс на одном валу ситчатых барабанов / и 2. Дл подъема пульпы служат прикрепленные к цилиндрическому ситу 6 радиально расположенные рещетки, которые движутс вместе с ситом.
