Description
The proposal relates to the method of making maxillary splints by bending a software wire with a pinned gypsum model of the jaw. According to the invention, the wire for this purpose is formed from thin strands of soft metal collected into bundles of desired thickness, - and s. To give the tire its compactness and rigidity, the beams are fused with some kind of low-melting metal (for example, Mitol). By applying this method, in addition to eliminating the need to disturb the patient with painful fittings and bending the wire to the eye, it is possible to obtain the possibility of obtaining a soft plastic material in an easy way, which can then be easily fixed in the desired position.
6 -In FIG. 1 shows the impression of the front and buccal sides of the dental arch; FIG. 2 - impression, provided with holes with inserted pins; FIG. 3 - casting an impression in plaster; FIG. 4 - gypsum model after removal. Preliminarily softened-. in the hot water of the impression mass; FIG. 5 - wire consisting of separate threadlike metallic wires; FIG. 6 -
11 - готовую проволочную шину на модели.the same wire, free from the coil and twisted; FIG. 7 illustrates the overlapping of twisted wire on a model equipped with pins; FIG. 8 depicts a wire pulled over a gypsum model; FIG. 9 shows the process of copper wire through tinol; FIG. 10- uncoupled wire tire from the model; FIG. 11 - finished wire bus on the model.
11).The proposed method of making maxillary splints is to follow. After preliminary fixation of the maxillary fragments, only the labial and buccal sides of the teeth are removed. The impression obtained in this way (Fig. 1) of the outer side of the dental arch, after cooling, is removed from the patient's mouth, and in places where it will be necessary to bend the wire, the impression is supplied with holes (Fig. 2) into which heated aluminum is inserted. pins. Then the print is cast in a cast. After the plaster hardens, the pressed mass is heated in hot water, removed, and thus a copy of the dental arch is obtained, equipped with protruding aluminum pins (Fig. 4). The thread-like wire (Fig. 5) of a soft metal (preferably copper) is pre-lubricated with tinol, twisted together to form a wire of the desired thickness (Fig. 6), and then stretched between aluminum pins, fits tightly to the model (Fig. 7); The free ends of the curling wire are twisted behind the model, thereby causing the wire to even more closely encircle the dental arch. eight). Tinol is applied to the wire evenly, and then it is evenly melted on the wire with an alcohol lamp or a soldering lamp. Having obtained a sufficient thickening of the copper wire (Fig. 9), the aluminum pins are removed, the tire is removed, cut off (Fig. 10), smoothed on the model and then, for example, in the patient's mouth (Fig. 11).
The subject matter of the invention.
Способ изготовлени челюстных шнн путем выгибани проволоки по снабженной штифтами гипсовой модели челюсти, отличающийс тем, что проволоку образуют из отдельных тонких нитей м гкого металла, собираемых в желаемой толишны пучки, с последующим сплавлением пучков, с целью придани им компактности и жесткости, оловом или каким-либолегкоплавким металлом, например, тинолем .A method of making maxillary joints by bending a wire along a pinned gypsum model of the jaw, characterized in that the wire is formed from individual thin strands of soft metal collected into desired thicknesses, followed by fusing of the beams, in order to impart them compactness and rigidity, with tin or some -lite-melting metal, for example, tinol.
