Description

(54) METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SHEET GLASS

требуемой толщины -и ширины ленты стекла.required thickness - and the width of the glass ribbon.

Температуру газовой опоры и теплоотдачу с верхней поверхности ленты стекла регулируют, обеспечива  переход ленты стекла на валки печи отжига при температуре, равной или несколько выше верхней температуры начала отжига (560- 580°С).Such a temperature is established along the molten bath at which the formed ribbon of glass, moving towards the exit opening of the molten metal bath, is cooled smoothly to 650-700 ° C. The sufficiently high viscosity of the glass at this temperature makes it possible to reduce the requirements for the uniformity of the gas support and simplify the technological process. The ribbon of glass was removed from the rasklava bath to the gas support while maintaining its horizontal plane, maintaining the level of metal melt in the last section of the bath above the level of the output threshold of the bath. The temperature of the gas support and the heat transfer from the upper surface of the glass ribbon are regulated, ensuring the transfer of the glass ribbon to the annealing rolls at a temperature equal to or slightly above the upper annealing start temperature (560-580 ° C).

After cooling on the gas support, the glass ribbon is annealed.

The proposed method for producing sheet glass provides the required process stability and the quality of the glass produced at elevated production rates.
