Однако этот захват имеет ограниченные возможности схвата разнообразных по форме и размерам предметов (в частности, цилиндрических предметов больших диаметров), а также отсутствие замка на крючке, вследствие чего при наклоне переносимый предмет может соскользнуть с крючка. Захват не обеспечивает кулачный схват и возможности изменени  взаимного расположени  в пространстве плоскостей, соприкасающихс  с захватываемым предметом, т. е. способностью к формоприспосабливанию, необходимой дл  работь и взаимодействи  различными предметами окружающей среды.
