Description
Преимущество цементной суспензии по сравнению с водным раствором хлористого цинка при всех прочих равных услови х заключаетс в том, что она совершенно нейтральна в отношении компонентов, составл ющих вещество угл , значительно дешевле, просто изготовл етс и всегда может быть приготовлена в нужных количествах любой лабораторией .In the study of the enrichment of coal and anthracite are usually used heavy liquids (large specific gravity). Until now, an aqueous solution of technical zinc chloride serves as the most suitable medium of high specific gravity, in which it is possible to separate the test coal into fractions of different specific gravity. However, this heavy liquid has significant drawbacks. Being acidic, it chemically acts on the individual components of coal and thereby distorts the results of laboratory tests, has a high cost, and significantly increases the cost of work on the study of coal enrichment. The present invention aims to replace the aqueous solution of zinc chloride with another heavy liquid, cheaper, simply obtained, and finally neutral with respect to coal. Such a liquid makes it possible to improve the quality of laboratory tests and reduce their cost. For this purpose, a slurry of cement in water was used as a heavy liquid. According to the author's observations, a mixture of pozzolan cement with water loses its ability to set and harden, if it is agitated for a few hours after a certain period of time. Such a mixture acquires properties close to the suspensions and makes it possible to use it as a heavy liquid. The advantage of the cement slurry in comparison with the aqueous solution of zinc chloride, all other things being equal, is that it is completely neutral with respect to the components that make up the coal, much cheaper, just made and can always be prepared in the right quantities by any laboratory.
Cement slurry can also be used as a separating liquid in the industrial processing of coal. Before processing, regular coal should be completely free of dust (class O - 1 mm}, and then dust-free coal in the separation cone
может быть разделен по удельному весу на две фракции: концентрат (всплывша фракци ) и хвосты (потонувша фракци ).can be divided by specific weight into two fractions: concentrate (floating fraction) and tails (drowned fraction).
Depending on the specific gravity of the cement slurry, various quality enrichment products will be obtained. This method of enrichment represents, in the author’s opinion, the following advantages as compared with methods already known: 1) cement slurry makes it possible to simply and quickly produce coal enrichment with any practically necessary specific gravity; 2) it is easily washed from enrichment products; 3) cement slurry losses are very small, as it is easily regenerated; 4) method
д.); 5) стоимость обогащени по сравнению с другими способами значительно ниже, так как здесь отпадает необходимость в больших капитальных затратах на сооружение специальных устройств дл подготовки угл к обогащению.the preparation of cement slurry is very simple and does not require significant expenditures for special facilities (classifiers, thickeners, etc.); 5) the cost of enrichment compared with other methods is much lower, since there is no need for large capital costs for the construction of special devices for the preparation of coal for enrichment.
