Известны уплотнени  вала, преимущественно из пластических полимерных материалов , на корпусе которых выполнен уплотн ющий выступ с уплотнительной кромкой, на стороне, противоположной уплотнитепьной кромке которого, в кольцевой проточке установлен пружинный элемент.The shaft seals are known, mainly of plastic polymeric materials, on the casing of which a sealing lip with a sealing edge is made, on the side opposite to the sealing edge of which a spring element is installed in an annular groove.

Предложенное уплотнение вала отличаетс  от известного тем, что, пружинный элемент выполнен в виде незамкнутого плоского пружинного кольца, у которого наружный диаметр эксцентричен внутреннему.
