При осуществлении способа дополнительный подогревающий факел направл ют под углом к основному потоку газовой смеси, смешива  его с газовой смесью по всему периметру струи. Дополнительный факел обжимает основной поток газовой смеси, подогревает его, способствует концентрации  дра пламени и защищает от попадани  в него азота воздуха , так как продукты сгорани  подогревающего факела образуют вокруг защитную оболочку . Кроме подогрева дополнительный факел одновременно осуществл ет перемешивание основного потока газовой смеси, что активирует процесс горени .
