Внутри цилиндра 7 находитс  подвешенна  на шелковой нитке 4 магнитна  система, образованна  магнитною стрелкою 5, жестко сочлененною со стаканом 6, внутри которого помещена электрическа  лампочка, питаема  от батарейки 8. В нижней части стакана имеютс  отполированное в виде зеркала и расположенное под углом в 45 к вертикали металлическое зеркальце 9 и узка  (диаметром 0,5 мм) трубка 7(фиг. 2 и 3). Магнитна  стрелка 5 насажена на оси 24, укрепленной на площадке 77, к которой прикреплена шелкова  нитка 4, перекинута  через ролики 12 и наматывающа с  на барабан 75.
