Description
Вследствие этого очень плохо используетс оборудование таких установок , а из-за штрафа, взимаемого энергоснабжающими организаци ми за плохой коэфициент мощности, удорожаетс продукци .Existing electro-graphitizing, carborundum and other similar resistance furnaces consist of conductive core composed of objects of electrothermal effect and special thermal insulation. Due to the considerable length of these furnaces, as well as the need to supply a current of different polarity to the two-meter current-carrying electrodes, installed at the ends of the furnace, a large bus loop is formed that flows around the current. The presence of this loop, as well as the relatively low active resistance of the nechi, especially in the middle and at the end of its heating cycle, leads to a decrease in the power factor of such a furnace installation. Thus, in a number of known graphite plants, the weighted average power ratio is 0.5-0.55, and the minimum reaches 0.4. As a result, the equipment of such installations is used very poorly, and because of the fine levied by the power supply organizations for poor power factor, production is more expensive.
Согласно изобретению, коэфициент мощцости улучшаетс за счет нрохождепи тока во взаимно противоположных направлени х , дл чего объекты нагревани размещены в два горизонтальных сло , разделенные изолирующей перегородкой .The proposed furnace eliminates the above disadvantage and makes it possible to bring the installation power factor closer to one. According to the invention, the power factor is improved by the presence of current in mutually opposite directions, for which the heating objects are placed in two horizontal layers separated by an insulating partition.
In the attached drawing of FIG. 1 shows the proposed furnace design; FIG. 2 is a variant of the installation of insulating partitions.
The furnace, as shown in FIG. 1, along its entire length, is divided by an insulating layer into two parts. Due to this, it is possible, by switching on the current, to reduce the inductance of the furnace and, moreover, due to the supply of a forward and return wire to each current lead electrode, to reduce the flow of the supply bus loop. As a consequence, the power factor of such a plant will approach unit. The insulation layer can be: filled with annealed dolomite, zircon, carborundum, magnesite and other similar refractory materials that have a melting point.
With a low furnace voltage (30-60 volts), there is no danger of the insulating layer being disturbed.
If it is necessary to further lower the voltage applied to the insulating layer, the arrangement of FIG. 2, does not require special explanations.
