Description
The idea of using powdered iron to produce magnetic materials with low losses on Foucault currents is not new. We can test the ways in which powdered iron is wetted with a solution of shellac, then dried and pressed into the forms of the desired type. The result is a material that has low losses on Foucault currents, but at the same time has a rather significant magnetic resistance, due to the presence of a large number of voids filled with an adhesive, air, and solvent residues. The minimization of these harmful gaps is associated with great difficulties, since the dilution of the shellac solution to produce a thinner film causes considerable difficulties in the final removal of the solvent. Between the grains, the air and solvent vapors are compressed under pressure and remain included in the mass.
The proposed method, which aims to eliminate these drawbacks and difficulties, is that instead of consuming shellac rasporor or other insulating and binder substance, fusible resins and other compounds are used in solid or liquid form, in particular the products of phenol compaction or their derivatives with formaldehyde or its derivatives (bakelite, etc.). A prerequisite for the selection of these insulating and binding substances is that they can be added and the liquid state without the aid of solvents and solidified after cooling or chemical reaction, as is the case, for example,
A mixture of powdered magnetic material (for example, iron, magnetic steel, etc.) and ground resin or other suitable compound is brought into the mold and
It is pressed with gentle heating, sufficient to melt the binder, but not sufficient at first to transfer to the final non-melting and change in the case of synthetic resin. At the same time, ka kda; 1 krupi1; and enveloped in a thin film of insulating substance, which is retained in the presence of pressure, which promotes the convergence of grains and 11s kikag (excess.) To absorb the latter, a porous body (for ., cardboard, sand, etc., which is removed afterwards from the finished product. When synthetic resin is used, after finishing the impregnation and suction of excess, the temperature of the mold under the press rises to convert the resin to the final eplavkoe modification.
To remove air and gas in general from the pressurized mass, it is convenient, for example, to provide a mold in the upper part with an orifice, connecting the HeHiUDiM with a dilution pump. After the desired vacuum has been reached, which can be accomplished with or without heating, pressing is performed, the punch first closes the opening leading to the pump and
It is also possible to produce cMeiiiiiBaHKe powders with impermeable or liquid binder material in a closed ps: (less often (with n - scuffing or without it)) and from there to feed the material through a tube into the closed thinning form, pressing, as described earlier.
The subject of the patent.
п.).1 A method of producing continuous magnetic bodies from powdered magnetic materials, characterized in that a mixture of powdered magnetic substance and a liquid or crushed fusible binder is pressed when heated in a mold, a substance absorbing an excess of binder is placed at the bottom or on its sides (eg ., sand, cardboard, etc.).
