В предлагаемом устройстве дл  измерени  скорости течени  в открытых потоках при помощи поплавков во врем  исследований поверхностных струй на модел х гидросооружений в гидротехнических лаборатори х, над поверхностью потока расположена решетка, с одной стороны которой установлена фотопластинка , а с другой фотоэлемент.
