Description
The premature wear of pneumatic hammers and their insufficient productivity make it very difficult to manage production. The whole question is the lubrication of jackhammers. At present, the lubrication of pneumatic tools in mines is either not done at all or is very poorly organized. Pneumatic tools require long-term (constant) lubrication during the work process. Immediately pouring a large amount of oil into the hammer at once, for lubricating oil usually, after a short period of work, flows out together with the exhaust air. The small amount of oil remaining in the tool is not sufficient to ensure smooth operation throughout the entire work shift.
After some time the hammer runs dry, as a result of which the walls of the cylinder heat up and eventually are actuated (wear out) and the air acting on the piston cannot be fully used to obtain a working (shock) stroke due to the fact that it rushes between the piston and the walls zoulindra,

Consequently, it is not only lost to the working shock stroke, but even counteracts it from the other side of the piston and brakes the working stroke. The consequence of this lubrication, therefore, is the consumption of a large amount of material and the reduced performance of the pneumatic tool.
To eliminate these drawbacks, a device for automatic lubrication of pneumatic hammers is offered, which is installed in the air duct and consists of a lubrication cartridge equipped with a lock with a hole through which air alternately enters the chamber, then lubricant flows out of the chamber.
In FIG. 1 shows a device for the automatic lubrication of air hammers in a longitudinal section; FIG. 2 is the same section along the line aa in FIG. one; FIG. 3 - lubricant cartridge in longitudinal section; FIG. 4 - the same front view; FIG. 5 is a layout diagram of the device.
The proposed device for automatic lubrication of pneumatic hammers consists of a lubrication cartridge 1 with a length J equal to 80 mm and a diameter of 17 mm, provided with unscrewing
е. попеременно тоconstipation 2 with aperture 3. Oil in an amount sufficient for one shift is poured into chamber 4 of cartridge 1. Chamber 4 is connected to bore 3 by channel 5, which serves as a filter, with two conical grooves 6 for inserting filter wadding. The cartridge 1 is inserted into the fitting 7, provided with three supporting ribs 8. Serving to protect the cartridge from falling out, the part 9 is provided with a screw thread, by means of which it is attached to the sleeve, which compresses the compressed air. The fitting 7 is screwed between the hammer and the hose (Fig. 5). The lubricant flows under the influence of air pressure fluctuations during the operation of the hammer, i.e. alternately
в камеру 4 входит воздух, то из нее через отверстие 3 вытекает смазка.air enters chamber 4, and grease flows out of it through hole 3.
