Description
Previously, the phenomenon was discovered that, when receiving one transmitting radio station, the transmission of another operating radio station is also heard on the same wave at the same time. Similar interference was found later in a number of places when receiving powerful radio stations. For some cases, this is due to the action of high-frequency earth currents, and for other cases, modulation in the ionosphere.
The present proposal relates to the second case, i.e., parasitic modulation in the ionosphere, and consists in a method of eliminating the interference caused by it.
The essence of the invention is that at some distance from the antenna of the broadcasting or receiving radio station, one or more vertical, horizontal or inclined, open or closed (frame) antennas are installed. These antennas or frames are tuned so that the radiation angle of the main antenna of the interfering or received station changes its value. This can change the meeting place in the ionosphere (layer of Hivizayd) waves of receiving and interfering stations.
Selecting the radiation angle of the sky wave accordingly, we

Этим же способом можно устранить или ослабить модул цию атмосферными разр дами.we can achieve that the beams of the transmitting and receiving stations either do not meet at all in the ionosphere, or intersect at a distance at which the field of the transmitting or receiving station is too weak to modulate the wave of the receiving station to which the receiver is tuned. In the same way, it is possible to eliminate or attenuate the modulation by atmospheric discharges.
