Известен способ контрол  целостности жил кабельных изделий, предусматривающий подключение кабел  двум  концами к измерительному прибору. Однако такой способ нельз  использовать, когда электрический кабель большой длины смонтирован стационарно на объекте и демонтаж его в процессе эксплуатации невозможен. В этом случае примен ют ручной способ контрол , при котором измерительный прибор типа тестера подключают к одному из концов кабел , а на другом, конце нри проверке целостности цепей устанавливают перемычки между провер емыми проводами.
