Description
The present invention aims at the destruction of tonal noise heard when receiving radio telephone and radio telegraph lamp transmitters and arising from the influence of alternating currents, or feeding the generator itself (such as insufficient rectification of the anode current, power supply of filaments of alternating lamps current), or from inducible near lying wires.
FIG. Figures 1 and 2 show the corresponding circuits with the following notations: T-transformer, 1-1 and 2-2 transformer windings, R-resistance, L-choke and C-capacitor.
To destroy the tonal noise in the anode circuit of the generator, transformer 7 is supplied with an alternating voltage of the same frequency as that of the current causing the tonal noise. Resistance R, choke L and capacitor C (constant or adjustable) in the primary circuit of this transformer are selected so that the alternating current obtained in the secondary winding is opposite in phase and equal in strength to the alternating current generated in the anode circuit of the generator. Thus, the alternating current in the anode circuit, and therefore in the oscillating circuit of the radiotelephone or radio telegraph transmitter, is destroyed. According to FIG. 1 and 2, the transformer winding 2-2 T is connected to the anode supply circuit by a constant or rectified current. The winding 1-1 of the latter is connected to an alternating current source of a frequency equal to the frequency of the current occurring in the anode circuit.
