Description
400.According to the proposed invention, an agat type of the Bokhansky region of the Bur-Mongolian Republic, replacing ebonite, coconut and various plastics, can serve as an ornamental material. This mineral can be used to manufacture both whole products and parts, mainly flat, and, when tested, it turned out to be acid-resistant, hygroscopic to an insignificant degree, having a resistance of 13 to 15 times more resistance than ebonite insensitive to surface develop, which compares favorably with bakelite, when working on stretching, in terms of its superior fiber properties and can be heated to 400.
Распиловка указанного минерала дл изготовлени из него изделий может производитьс при наивыгоднейшей скорости резани -14-16 лс в секунду (суха распиловка).Sawing up of this mineral to make products from it can be done at the most favorable cutting speed of 14-16 hp per second (dry sawing).

However, in this case, the productivity of the machine is not high enough and an increased wear of the cutting tool is observed. To improve the process of sawing, the mineral, in the form of slabs - blocks, is preheated in a water bath for at least 30 minutes. to a water temperature of 90-95, so that the temperature of the material in the machine was in the range of 40-60. With this heating, the cutting speed can be given m per second and the productivity of the machine increases several times.
Final, obtained after cutting, the thickness of the plates must be at least 3 mm.
The next operation in the manufacture of flat bars is QC grinding, which is carried out on grinding discs. If sanding is too long, the product is heated to such an extent that the material begins to deform, causing the surface to become uneven. In view of this, grinding time is limited; for example, a panel with dimensions of 100x50x8 should not be sanded for more than one minute.
Threading, which is often required in both flat and otherwise shaped parts, is carried out on conventional machine tools. The most significant here is the following. Since the material has a lamination and its strength in the directions along the layers and perpendicular to them, although slightly different, but still different, it is necessary to cut the thread so that the axis of the bolt or nut is perpendicular to the layers.
Из всех полирующих материалов наиболее высококачественную (приближающуюс к зеркальной) поверхность дал изготовленный из самородной окиси железа .Of all the polishing materials, the highest quality (approaching to the mirror) surface was made from native iron oxide.
Thus, the proposed ornamental material can in many cases replace ebonite, plastics (bakelite, carbolite, fiber), marble, non-ferrous metals, valuable sorts of wood, coconut, and bone.
The subject matter of the invention.
1. Use as an ornamental material for replacing ebonite, coconut and plastic-type mineral of jet, Bokhansky district of the Bur-Mongolian Republic.
2. The method of manufacturing products from a mineral, referred to in paragraph I, characterized in that the mineral is heated to a temperature of 90-95, cut into pieces of desired size on a band saw with a cutting speed of 18-21 hp per second, and then subjected to machining and decoration by conventional means.
