Description

The invention relates to the pulp and paper industry.

There is a known method for preparing paper pulp by grinding the fiber, sizing and filling with kaolin. However, with this method, the sizing stability is disturbed.

The purpose of the invention is to reduce the weakening effect of the filler on paper sizing.

This is achieved by the fact that kaolin is charged to a charge plus 7-8 mi by water treatment with a solution of aluminum sulphate and introduced directly in front of paper.

Positively charged filler is introduced into the most diluted pulp. It is advisable to use kaolip dry dressing. For this purpose, kaolin with charge up to minus 5-6 mi is treated with an aqueous solution of aluminum sulphate to obtain it with a charge of plus 7-8 MV and is introduced in front of the discharge box of the paper machine.

The method makes it possible to stabilize and increase the sizing of paper by 2–2.5 times in comparison with the known at the same consumption of sizing and filling materials.

Prev Invention

The method of preparing the pulp by grinding fiber, sizing and filling with kaolin, characterized in that, in order to reduce the weakening effect of the filler on the sizing of paper, the kaolin is charged to charge plus 7-8 MV by treatment with an aqueous solution of aluminum sulfate and is inserted just before the paper is drained.
