Description
1 .one .
The invention relates to the field of extraction of metals from the products of purification of solutions of hydrometallurgical production, in particular to the processing of ferrous cakes.
The known method of processing cakes consists in acid treatment in order to extract a part of non-ferrous metals with subsequent pyrometallurgical processing of the leach residue. This method is associated with significant losses of ferrous metals contained in the cake. with complete loss of total iron of cakes with waste slachlak and with the complication of the conditions of blending and loading of materials to be melted.
0,8-1,5.The proposed method differs from the known one in that the aqueous slurry of the cake is heated to 140-200 ° C at a pressure of 5-12 at and the RP value of the final solution of 0.8-1.5.
После такой обработки цветные металлы переход т в раствор практически полностью, а гидроокись железа и его основные соли превращаютс в безводную окись железа, хорощо фильтрующуюс и отстаивающуюс .After this treatment, the non-ferrous metals are almost completely dissolved, and the iron hydroxide and its basic salts are converted into anhydrous iron oxide, which is filtered and settled.
The proposed method is based on the ability of iron hydroxide and its basic salts to dehydrate at 140 ° C to form anhydrous iron oxide. The acid liberating with the destruction of the basic salts of iron interacts with the basic salts of the present non-ferrous metal, which then goes into solution in the form of normal sulphate. For complete removal of the base metal and the absence of iron in the final solution, the acidity of the latter should be in the range of 0.8-1.5 RP units. Depending on the composition of the processed cake, the slurry of cake can be diluted with water or acidified. After processing the pulp, the precipitate is quickly settled, and the solution is decanted. The resulting iron oxide is freed from traces of sulfate sulfur, calcined by the 1st and is a valuable product - a red iron oxide pigment.
The advantages of the proposed method include the possibility of recycling old factory waste dumps.
Subject invention
0,8-1,5.The method of hydrometallurgical processing of ferrous cakes of nonferrous metallurgy, differs by the fact that, in order to extract non-ferrous metals from cake and obtain iron as a marketable product, the cake is heated to 140–200 ° C at a pressure of 5–12 days and pH the final solution of 0.8-1.5.
