Description
This invention relates to the field of the production of boric acid and other products from boron-containing ores. A known method for processing borcaldium-containing ores, such as colemanite, with ammonium sulfate and regenerating nodled by treating calcium-containing co.; Ni with ammonia and carbon dioxide produced during processing involves many processing steps, including the production of CaSO.i, which is then subjected to flue gases gases to form ammonium sulphase. The proposed method differs from the known one in that the ore is calcined in a mixture with ammonium sulfate 500-700 °, and ballast hydrogen ore (CaSO4) is used as the calcium-containing salt. This makes it possible to reduce the consumption of reagents for the opening of the ore and to utilize the poor ore without enrichment. The process can be represented by the equation: 2MgO VaOz P20 + 2 (NHi) 2S04-V 2MgSO4 + BzOa-f-INHs + SnaO. This reaction, which is carried out at 500-700 ° C by calcining a mixture of asharite ore and ammonium sulphate, gives siek containing B2Oa in water-soluble form. By leaching the cake with water or circulating solutions, BaOg is obtained as acid and MgSO4 as solution. They are separated by known methods, for example crystallization and flotation separation. Flue gases containing MPs and CO2 are subsequently used to process the pre-ground asharite that is suspended in an aqueous solution. In this case, the gypsum of the raw material, reacting with NHs and COz, is converted into ammonium sulfate and calcium carbonate according to the equation: CaSO4 + 2NHH-COH-H2O-CaCO3 + (NH4) 2SO4. The ammonium sulfate formed, together with the solid phase, is filtered off and sent to calcining. This eliminates the need for ammonium sulphate consumption, which is required only in small quantities to replenish mechanical and loss, and the ballast, gypsum, is turned into useful and even necessary. The overall recovery rate of EzOa from poor ore reaches 75%. within 0.5 hour The obtained sinter is leached at 100 ° C with water taken in an amount of 100 ml. Leaching after separation of the solid phase gives 106 g of a solution containing 0.65% BsOg and MgS04. Example 2. A pulp containing boril ore (40 g) in the solid phase and a circulating solution with a ratio W: T 5: 1 in the liquid phase is treated with flue gases containing CO and NHs for 30 minutes. After that, the solid phase is filtered without washing and calcined at 650 ° C. The speck is leached with circulating solutions (Li) with water in an amount of 80 g. The final product contains 5.2% B. oz and 26.5% MgSOi. The subject of the invention. A method for processing borcalcium-containing ore with ammonium sulphate with regeeration of the latter by treating the calcium-containing salt with ammonia and carbon dioxide formed during the processing process, characterized in that, in order to reduce the consumption of reagents and cut the ore and utilize the poor ore without dressing, mixtures with ammonium sulfate at 500–700 ° C, and ballast gypsum ore is used as the calcium-containing salt.
