Abstract
FIELD: scintillation technique. SUBSTANCE: method involves thermal evaporation of organic scintillators, the process is carried out in vacuum on sublayer. P-terphenyl is proposed as scintillation material, its mixture with 1,4-diphenyl butadiene being used. Quantity of 1,4-diphenyl butadiene is 1,3·10- 10. mol %. Mentioned above scintillation material is precipitated at vacuum 1,3·10- 6,6·10Pa, temperature of vaporizer is 353-363 K. Temperature of sublayer is 313-323 K.
