Description
The proposed device is intended for an automatic one-on-one switch-over devices of regenerators, at 4evL the switching time is determined by the temperature of the regenerator, which is set in advance, cor.iiacHO the desired mode of operation of the regenerators. To this end, a metal rod is embedded in the wall of the regenerative furnace, the free end of which is provided with contacts. When the rod is extended from heating, the contacts close the electrical circuit in which the electric motor is connected, which actuates the changeover device of the regulators. The drawing depicts the scheme of the device. In the wall of regenerator A, body 1 of expansion rods 3 is fastened. The outer part 2 of the wall near the rod is made of heat insulating material. In one of the projections of the housing, the rod 3 is fixedly fixed, made of metal with the greatest possible coefficient of thermal expansion. A hinge 4 is placed on the other protrusion of the housing, around which the arrow 5, connected by a hinge with the rod 3, can rotate. At the free end of the arrow 5, contacts 6 and 7 are fixed, separated from the arrow by an electrically insulating layer 8. When the regenerator is heated
Впоследствии положение держател может быть изменено по желанию, с целью установки надлежащей максимальной температуры регенератора .and the rod 3, and its expansion is caused by the rotation of the arrow 5. The installation is performed in such a way that when the regenerator is heated to the limiting temperature (i.e., to the one at which the regenerator is needed), contacts 6 and 7 touch contacts 9, 10 and 11. The latter are placed on the holder 12, the position of which on the housing determines the moment of contact between the contacts. The holder 12 is secured to the housing with mounting screws 13, and the holder is properly positioned during initial installation of the device using a reference pyrometer inserted into the regenerator. Subsequently, the position of the holder can be changed as desired, in order to set an appropriate maximum regenerator temperature.
After the contacts touch, the electric current will go as follows: 1) through contacts b and 9 into the exciting winding of the electric motor 14 and then along the wire 15 back into the network; if necessary, a circuit can be switched on (r); 2) through contacts b and y, switch 16, motor 14 winding to contact 11 and operating current will go back to the network. Then 1 electric motor starts rotating. The shaft 17 is electromotor connected by a coupling 18 with a screw (screw) 19, which engages with a gear wheel 20. This wheel is connected by a key to the shaft 21, which is set in motion, directly or through a gear mechanism, the switching mechanism of the regenerators (transfer device). A gear 22 is mounted on the same shaft 21; it engages with another gear wheel 23, which makes a smaller number of revolutions than wheel 22. The number of revolutions of wheel 23 is chosen so that when the whole mechanism is rotated from one to the other extreme position made less than one turn. On the shaft 24 of the wheel 23 also sits a washer 25 with two pins 26 and 27, which are reinforced on it, covered with an outside electrically insulating layer (sleeve). When the whole mechanism approaches the extreme position, at which the regenerators switch completely, pin 26 deflects switch 16, turning it around axis 28 (indicated by dotted lines), and thus opens the circuit, after which the rotation of the motor stops. In this case, the exhaust gases are included in the regenerator B, while the regenerator A comes with fresh air or gas.
In the wall of the regenerator -B, the same expansion rod is installed as described above. When the regenerator -B is sufficiently heated, the contacts 29 with 30 and 31, and 32 with 33; through contact 30, the current will be applied to the excitation of the electric motor, and contact 31, the winding of the electric motor, isolation switch 34, contact 33 and back to the network, the operating current that will cause the electric motor to rotate in the opposite direction from the previous one. The rotation continues until pin 27, (Turns off switch 34 all around axis 35. At this moment the switching of regenerators is complete, and the exhaust gases will flow through the regenerator, a-air or fresh gas, through the regenerator B. Spring 36 meanwhile sets switch 16 to its primary position, and thus the whole circuit is prepared to pass current at the end of heating of the regenerator A. Then the whole jpaeoTbi process will be repeated first, in the order described above.
If the axis of the switching device makes less than one obo (then between its extreme positions / then there is no need for a decelerating gear unit 22, 23, since the washer 25 can be planted directly on the shaft 21. The described device can be installed. As in the wall air regenerator, and gas.
