Abstract
The invention approaches laser recording and display systems, and. 8, in particular, to optical radiation scanning devices. The aim of the invention is to expand the functionality of the device. For this purpose, integrated optical lenses are arranged in a cylindrical planar waveguide of a known device, which are located in front of the diffraction gratings of the radiation output, which, when the cylindrical waveguide rotates around the axis, allows the deflected beam to be scanned along the line. In addition, the successive displacement of each pair of an integrated optical lens — a diffraction grating one relative to another in a spiral along the generatrix of the lateral surface of the cylinder — leads to the realization of a frame sweep. With a full turn of a cylindrical planar waveguide around the axis, the scanned beam performs a two-dimensional scan of the entire frame. 2 Il.
Description
Изобретение относитс к оптическим волноводам типа оптической интегральной схемы и может быть использовано в лазерных телевизионных системах, в оптозлектронных системах записи, считывани и обработки информации дл отклонени или сканировани оптического излучени .The invention relates to optical waveguides, such as an optical integrated circuit, and can be used in laser television systems, in optoelectronic recording, reading and processing systems for deflecting or scanning optical radiation.
A device for deflecting optical radiation is known, comprising a laser radiation source forming an objective lens, planar waveguides mounted rotatably around an axis perpendicular to the plane of the planar waveguides by a spinning mechanism, diffraction input gratings having different directions and located around the axis of rotation of the planar waveguides. Optical radiation incident on planar waveguides undergo diffraction from one of the diffraction gratings, enters the planar waveguide and exits through its end. In this case, the output ends of the planar waveguides constituting the drum-prism are refractive, and since the radiation output zones during rotation change along the rotation radius, at constant speed of rotation of the planar waveguides the linear scanning speed of the beam is uneven, which ultimately results reduces the resolution of the device.
При повороте цилиндрического планарного волновода зона вывода оптического излучени из планарнрго волновода перемещаетс вдоль оси вращени и таким образом осуществл етс отклонение (сканирование ) выходного оптического излучени .A device for deflected14 optical radiation is known, which contains a laser radiation source optically coupled to a lens, a cylinder-shaped diffraction grating, the strokes of which are oriented perpendicularly forming the side surface of the cylinder, a planar waveguide on the surface of the cylinder mounted for rotation around an axis, a mechanism rotation, diffraction gratings of radiation output, located at an acute angle to the generator of the lateral surface of the cylinder and parallel to each other friend to your side boundaries. The optical radiation of the source is introduced through a radiation-forming lens and a diffraction grating into a planar waveguide parallel to the axis of rotation. As it propagates, the optical radiation diffracts from one of the diffraction gratings, the radiation outputs and is directed through the lens to the recording medium. When a cylindrical planar waveguide is rotated, the zone of optical radiation output from the planar waveguide is moved along the axis of rotation and thus the output optical radiation is deflected (scanned).
вывода оптического излучени равноудалены от оси вращени цилиндрического планарного волновода, что обеспечивает повышение разрешающей способности устройства .The device eliminates the non-uniformity of the linear scanning speed of the beam at a constant angular velocity of rotation of the planar waveguide, since the optical radiation output zones are equidistant from the axis of rotation of the cylindrical planar waveguide, which increases the resolution of the device.
In a number of cases, the problem arises of expanding the functionality of the device as the implementation of a two-dimensional scan of the scanned beam, for example, in laser television systems when creating a line and frame scan of the scanned beam.
The purpose of the invention is to expand the functionality of the device.
The goal is achieved by the fact that in a device for deflecting optical radiation containing a laser source optically coupled to an objective lens, a diffraction grating in the form of a radiation input cylinder, the strokes of which are oriented perpendicular to the lateral surface of the cylinder, with a planar waveguide installed on the cylinder surface rotatably around an axis by a rotation mechanism, diffraction gratings of radiation output, on the side surface of a cylinder in a planar waveguide integrated-optical lens disposed in front of each grating radiation output, wherein each pair of integral-optical lens - grating output sequentially shifted relative to one another helically along the cylinder surface. When using the proposed device, a two-dimensional scan of the scanned optical radiation is provided, which leads to an expansion of the functional capabilities of the device.

A device for rejecting optical radiation operates as follows.
The optical radiation of the source 1 of the | eez radiation-forming lens 2 and the diffraction grating 3 is introduced into the cylindrical planar waveguide 4 parallel to the axis of rotation. As it propagates, the optical radiation undergoes refraction on the integrated optical lens b and through the diffraction grating 7 is output and directed to the recording medium 8. As the cylindrical waveguide 4 rotates around the axis, i.e. when moving a pair of integrated optical lens - diffraction grating output, relative to the propagation of optical radiation in the planar waveguide 4, the radiation output zone moves along the diffraction grating 7 and deflects the output radiation across the axis of rotation of the cylinder, thereby performing the output radiation in the row. When a subsequent pair of an integrated optical lens is moved — a diffraction grating of the output relative to the propagation of optical radiation in a planar waveguide 4 — there is a spatial shift of the output radiation perpendicular to the scanning of the radiation along the line, since the pairs of an integrated optical lens — the diffraction grating of the output are successively shifted

За полный оборот цилиндрического планарного волновода 4 вокруг оси осуществл етс развертка всего кадра.. relative to each other in a spiral along. forming the lateral surface of the cylinder. Thus, when the cylindrical planar waveguide 4 is rotated around the axis, in addition to sweeping the radiation along the row, the frame is swept, i.e. a two-dimensional scan of the scanned optical radiation is performed. For a complete revolution of the cylindrical planar waveguide 4 around the axis, the entire frame is scanned.
