Description
The invention relates to a measurement technique in dispersed fluid flows and can be used in the design of spray devices.
The aim of the invention is to increase the accuracy of determining the mass of droplets and increase the information content of the method by further determining the velocity of the droplets.
На фиг.1 показана структурна схема устройства, реализующего предлагаемый способ; на фиг.2 - осциллограмма акустического сигнала в координатах напр жение - врем .Figure 1 shows the block diagram of the device that implements the proposed method; Fig. 2 shows an oscillogram of an acoustic signal in voltage-time coordinates.
Drops of the measured flow (Fig. 1, shown by arrows) fall on the sensitive surface of the acoustic sensor 1, which is a piezoelectric transducer, and excite it. The potential difference U, appearing on opposite sides of the sensor's sensing element and having an amplitude of several microvolts, is fed to the input of wideband amplifier 2. The amplified electrical signal from the amplifier is fed to the input of storage oscilloscope 3. The necessity of using amplifier 2 is due to the small signal from acoustic sensor 1 and low the sensitivity of the vertical deflection amplifier (usually 5-10 mV) of the oscilloscope 3. The amplitude U and the duration A are determined from the obtained oscillogram t acoustic signal. From the measured U and A t determine the drop rate V "and the diameter
