Обод ветрового колеса выполнен в виде колец 9 и 10. Кольца 9 и 10 св заны между собой при помоши пружин 11. Кольцо 9 имеет скозные отверсти 12, а кольцо 10 - пазы 13, Кажда рабоча лопасть 6 снабжена двум штыр ми, один из которых размещен в сквозном отверстии 12, другой - в пазу 13, Така конструкци позвол ет устранить краевой эффект, возникающий при работе ветрового колеса, и измен ть угол поворота лопастей 6 вокруг их продольной оси путем изменени взаимного углового расположени колец 9м 10 в зависимости от скорости ветра.
