Description
The invention relates to a measuring technique and is intended to measure the flow of liquids and gases in various industries.
The purpose of the invention is the expansion of the measurement range.
1.FIG. 1 shows a turbine flow sensor, a general view; figure 2 - section aa in figure 1.
Вместо герконов могут быть установлены и другие чувствительные элементы .The flow sensor consists of a housing 1, in which there is an unsupported turbine 2 in the form of a hollow conical disk. The front face 3 of the disk repeats the shape of the opposite surface of the inlet 4 of the housing 1 and is tapered. On the front end surface 3 there is an inlet 5, and outlet openings 6 are located on the side surface 7 and are directed tangentially to it. A magnet 8 is integrated into the impeller 2. At some distance from the rear blank wall 9 of the impeller 2, a screen 10 is fixed to the housing 1 in front of the outlet 11, as well as an annular gap 12 for the passage of the medium. In the drillings of housing 1, a signal assembly is installed in the form of a reed switch 13, perceiving rotation of the impeller 2 with a magnet 8. Other sensitive elements can also be installed instead of reed switches.
Turbine flow sensor works as follows.
The measured medium entering through the inlet 4 is split into two streams. One of them goes through the inlet 5 into the disk of the turinka's body 2, and then tangentially goes to the surface 7 through the openings 6 and causes the impeller 2 to rotate. the end surface 3 causes a decrease in static pressure in this gap. The absence of medium movement at the end surface 9 of the impeller 2 causes an increased pressure {L

3.the The pressure difference presses the turbine 2 against the incoming flow of medium. At the same time, the medium flow at the surface 3 forms a cushion — it is a lubricant for the rotating impeller 2. To ensure stable rotation of the impeller, its diameter must be more than three times the diameter of the inlet nozzle 4 Three times the rear surface 9 of the impeller 2 screen Medium flows are directed not directly to channel 11, but to annular gap 12 located from the axis of the body at a distance greater than the radius of rotation of the impeller 3.
The hydrodynamic equilibrium of the impeller 2 is provided as follows.
1.As the flow rate increases, the dynamic pressure of the incoming flow tends to drop the turbine 2 from the inlet 4. However, at the same time, the static pressure of the medium in the gap between the surface 3 of the turbine 2 and the opposite surface of the housing 1 also decreases. of the medium exiting the windows 6 into the gap between the surface 7 and the opposite cylindrical surface of the housing 1.
4.When the sensor is inclined or horizontal, the turbine 2 is spontaneously attracted by fluid flows to the inlet 4.
To reduce dynamic errors for
Because of the inertia of the impeller, the average density of the impeller material is chosen close to the density of the medium being measured. Making the inlet nozzle with an impeller disk cone and a deaf disk allows the measurement range to be expanded.
