Abstract
The invention relates to medicine, in particular to surgery. The goal is to enhance the antibacterial properties of lysozyme. For this purpose, immobilization of lysozyme on a polymethylsilyloxane hydrogel is carried out in a ratio of (0.03-0.05): 1.0, and the composition is applied to the wound surface. The method makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of treatment by increasing more than 5 times the antibacterial activity of lysozyme, especially with respect to gram-negative microflora.
Description
This invention relates to medicine, in particular surgery.
The goal is to enhance the antibacterial properties of the drug.
The method is carried out as follows.
A layer containing in its composition lysozyme in the amount of 0.03-0.05 g per 1.0 g of polymethylsiloxane hydrogel in the form of a gel-like paste is applied to the wound surface, then an aseptic dressing is applied to keep the preparation in the wound.
Example 1. Patient I. was hospitalized for 24 years with a diagnosis of phlegmon of the submandibular region. After opening the abscess, general medical treatment was prescribed. Locally applied lysozyme immobilized on a hydrogel polymethylsiloxane in a ratio of 0.05: 1.0. Lines change once a day. From purulent exudate, E. coli was sown. On the third day of treatment, there are no general complaints, the body temperature is 37.0 ° C. The infiltration around the wound persisted for 5 days, the purulent discharge stopped on the third day, granulation and epithelization appeared on the 4th day after opening the cellulitis. The serous discharge stopped on the fifth day.
Исследовани показали, что применение иммобилизованного на гидрогеле полиметилсилоксана лизоцима у больных абсцессами и флегмонами сократило сроки лечени на 4,9 дн .Studies have shown that the use of lysozyme immobilized on a hydrogel of polymethylsiloxane in patients with abscesses and phlegmons reduced the treatment time by 4.9 days.
As the results of the study showed, lysozyme immobilized on a polymethylsiloxane hydrogel possesses high antibacterial activity against all gram-negative microorganisms isolated from a wound and previously resistant to it, as well as 83.3% penicillin-resistant gram-positive bacteria that are insensitive to lysozyme pure form.
