Abstract
The invention relates to the preparation of copolymers based on vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate with a reduced content of residual monomers. The invention makes it possible to intensify the process of removing residual monomers by using chlorine degassing at 18–23 ° C with a flow rate of 3–4 l / h, the chlorination stages and the subsequent aging are 30 me each.
Description
Изобретение относитс к получению сополимеров на основе винилхлорида (ВХ) и винилацетата (ВА), характеризующихс пониженным содержанием остаточных мономеров и вл ющихс наиболее перспективными в экологическом отношении .The invention relates to the production of copolymers based on vinyl chloride (VC) and vinyl acetate (BA), which are characterized by a lower content of residual monomers and are most environmentally promising.
The aim of the invention is to intensify the process of removing residual monomers.
Examples 1-5. 150 ml of an aqueous suspension of copolymer BX with BA BA-15 are loaded into a glass 0.5 liter reactor equipped with a stirrer and a bubbler. This intermediate is characterized by a pH range of 3.8-4.5. A flow meter is placed on the chlorine feed masks, and the end of the bubbler is set so that the permeable gas enters the lower part of the reactor. After switching on the mixer, I apply chlorine gas (flow rate 3 l / h) for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 3 minutes followed by shutting off its supply and the implementation of the exposure 30 Mitch (temperature experiments 18-23 ° C). The copolymer treated in this way is subjected to chromatographic analysis in order to quantify the fraction of residual monomers.
1.The results of the experiments dan1 in .1.
Presented in table. 1, the data indicate that, under very mild conditions, the efficiency of the monomer removal process is high (the proportion of VC decreases soils n-i two orders of magnitude, and VA decreases by one).
Examples 6-10 (for comparison) The examples 6 and 7 are similar, respectively, to examples 2 and 4, but instead of an oxidizing agent - gaseous chlorine take inert gas nitrogen, in examples P. 10 - air.
Examples 11-18. The method is carried out as in example 1 under different degassing conditions.
2.The results of the experiments are presented in table 2.
Example 19. Carried out as in example 1. The flow of chlorine gas 4 l / h. Chlorine

подаетс при 20°С в течение 30 мин с последующей выдержкой в течение 30 мин.served at 20 ° C for 30 minutes followed by holding for 30 minutes.
Periodic (intermittent) chlorination is carried out before the occurrence of the color, after the disappearance of which chlorine is again supplied (by a known method).
3.The results of the experiments are given in table.3.
Shown in table 3 data indicate a more complete and more rapid removal of residual monomers in the proposed method compared with the known.
