Description
The invention relates to a vehicle, in particular to tire pressure monitoring devices of moving vehicles.
The aim of the invention is to simplify the design and increase reliability.
FIG. 1 shows a diagram of the structure of the device; Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of the display system.
Катоды каждого из светодиодов 14 соединены с инвертирующими выходами соответствующих RS- триггеров 10, а их аноды через третий резистор 15 подключены к плюсу источника питани .The device contains an element 1, made in the form of a flexible elastic steel strip, glued to an insulating gasket 2 fixed to the stationary part of the vehicle with a rivet 3. This same rivet connects the terminal 4 of the wire 5 going into the display circuit with element 1. Second element 6 is also made of a flexible elastic steel strip which is pressed by its plane at one end to the side surface of the tire 7, and the other end is riveted to the rim 9 by means of a rivet 9. The wire 5 from the element 1 of each of the 4 wheels is fed to the entrance at S the corresponding RS flip-flop 10. All these inputs through the first resistors 11 are connected to the positive power source, to which all the inputs R RS-flip-flop 10 are also connected via the second resistor 12 and through the normally open contacts of the button 13 Reset is ground. The cathodes of each of the LEDs 14 are connected to the inverting outputs of the respective RS flip-flops 10, and their anodes are connected via a third resistor 15 to the power source.

The device works as follows.
When the tire pressure drops while the vehicle is moving, it expands at the point of contact with the road, periodically driving element 6 into contact with element 1. At the same time, there are loud characteristic clicks indicating an urgent need to stop, and input S of one of the RS triggers 10 is briefly grounded. This trigger is set and a low logic level appears at its inverting output. A current flows from the plus power source through the resistor 15 to this LED 14. A setodio 14 shines, indicating a flat tire. After raising the tire pressure to the normal level, the display circuit returns to its original state (the LEDs 14 are not illuminated) by pressing the Reset button 13, through which all the trigger inputs R are grounded.
The methods of fastening the second element 6 may be different. It can be worn on one end of the wheel mounting studs on the brake drum, and the other end will go to the inner side surface of the tire through the gap between the brake drum and the wheel disk. The elements 6 can be fastened with a clamp on the circumference of the brake drum or in the same way as the balancing weights are fastened (the steel strip of the second element can be combined with the balancing weight). Elements 6 can also be made of steel wire or cable. The first element 1 is best made from a steel elastic strip in order to ensure its maximum flexibility in the longitudinal (in the direction of travel) direction and minimum lateral play in order to obtain maximum reliability and accuracy of the device.
