Изобретение относитс  к гидротехнике, а именно к устройствам, обеспечивающим защиту водозаборов от попадани  в них рыб. Цель изобретени  - повышение эффективности работы путем улучшени  промыв ки фильтрующей кассеты. Рыбозащитное устройство на водозаборе включает фильтрующую кассету 1, выполненную в виде кожуха 4, заполненного шариками 5, каркас 6. промывное водовоздушное приспособление 7. При этом промывное приспособление 7 выполнено в виде напорной магистрали 9 с прикрепленными к ней патрубками 10 разной длины. По мере работы кассеты 1 пространство между шариками 5 заил етс .
