Abstract

п. This invention relates to safety engineering, in particular to optical elements of protective shields, goggles designed to protect the eyes and / or persons working from exposure to infrared, ultraviolet radiation, glare and other harmful optical radiations. The purpose of the invention is to expand the spectral range of protection and reduce background illumination in the direction of the eyes and face. The optical element contains plates 21 and 2 of optical materials activated by phosphors. Moreover, the spectral absorption band of the phosphors corresponds to a certain region of the spectrum of harmful optical radiation, and between the plates 2 and 2 there are left air gaps 3. 1 Cp. 1. An optical element for protecting eyes and face from exposure to harmful optical radiation, comprising a plate of optical material activated by a phosphor, the spectral absorption band of which corresponds to the spectrum of harmful optical radiation, characterized in that, in order to expand the spectral range of protection, it is equipped with additional plates with different phosphors installed in series with air gaps between them, and the luminescence spectrum of the phosphor of the previous in the direction of the rays pl Astin corresponds to the spectral absorption band of the phosphor of the subsequent plate. 2. 2. The element according to claim 1, with the fact that, in order to reduce the background illumination towards the eyes and face, the plates have a convex shape.
