The invention relates to the manufacture of optical oxide glasses, activated by semiconductor compounds, and intended for use as optical filters and elements of laser technology.
The aim of the invention is to increase the steepness of the absorption boundary and narrow the transition region while maintaining the long-wavelength absorption edge in the near infrared region of the spectrum and at the same time ensuring its insensitivity to heat treatment.
0,01-8,58; SrO 0,01-14,83; CulnSa 0,74-0,99.Glass has the following composition, wt.%: SI02 69,42-74,36; Na20 15.00-16.06; CaO 0.01-8.58; SrO 0.01-14.83; CulnSa 0.74-0.99.
The glass was synthesized by melting the mixtures prepared from the corresponding reagents: quartz sand, sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, strontium carbonate, semiconductor compound CulnSa

Исследовани спектральных характеристик проводили на образцах в виде полированных плоскопараллельных пластинок толщиной 2 мм.dispersed state, in a gas-flame furnace at a maximum temperature of 1,450 ± 10 ° C with an exposure time of one hour in reducing conditions. In order to create a reducing medium, coal was injected in an amount of 2.0 May%. Glass mass was produced on a cold plate with subsequent annealing of samples in a muffle electric furnace at a temperature of 570 ± 5 ° С for 2 hours. The spectral characteristics were studied on samples polished plane-parallel plates 2 mm thick.
Table 1 shows specific examples of glass compositions, Table 2 shows their properties.
1.In drawing 1 shows the spectral characteristics of the glass, while the numbers of the spectral curves correspond to the numbers of the compositions given in table 1.

The long wavelength edge of the absorption band is located in the infrared region.
The position of the absorption band in the proposed glass is associated with the presence in the final composition of the compound CulnS2, which does not have a decomposition temperature, and its melting temperature is 1090 ° C, the forbidden band width is 1.438 eV,
The absorption margin of the proposed glass is a relatively steep line. The wavelength corresponding to the beginning of the L-p transparency region is 1.1 µm, which makes it possible to produce filters that cut radiation with a wavelength of 1.1 µm from such glass. At the same time, the transmission limit does not change during annealing and heat treatment (pickup), which indicates that the semiconductor compound is preserved in the microcrystalline state directly during the cooking process and remains unchanged during annealing and heat treatment.

Thus, from the analysis of the presented data, it follows that this glass has a smaller transition region on the spectral curve and a steeper transmission boundary, as compared to the known one, which allows improving the quality of manufactured products.
