Abstract
This invention relates to a friction testing technique. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy and reliability of the results by registering a low-frequency electric current. Friction is performed on a pair of friction (load, speed, lubricant, etc.). During the run-in, the constant and low-frequency components of the electric current are measured, which are caused by the generated tribo-EMF friction pair. The ratio of these components determines the type of friction: with the boundary mode of friction, the constant component is several times greater than the variable

Description
Изобретение относитс к технике испытани материалов на трение и может быть использовано, в частности, дл определени вида трени - граничного, смешанного и жидкостного при переработке и работе пары трени .The invention relates to a technique for testing materials for friction and can be used, in particular, to determine the type of friction - boundary, mixed and liquid during processing and operation of a pair of friction.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy and reliability of the results by eliminating an electrical circuit breakdown and its effect on tribological processes, as well as recording a low frequency (fraction of Hz) electrical parameter.
FIG. 1 shows a diagram of an apparatus for carrying out the method; in fig. 2 - the results of the implementation of the method.
Величину сопротивлени резистора 1 выбирают соизмеримой с минимальным электросопротивлением контакта пары трени (пор дка 0,1 Ом).The device includes a resistor 1 and a microvolmeter 2 connected to samples 3 and 4, which are placed in lubricating medium 5. The resistance value of resistor 1 is chosen to be comparable with the minimum electrical resistance of the contact of a friction pair (on the order of 0.1 Ohm).
The method for determining the type of friction is carried out as follows.
Example. For a pair of friction with a combination of materials, bronze - steel with a friction area of 0.25 cm, a slip speed of 3 m / s, an I-20 A lubricant, measured the constant and low-frequency variable components of the electric current (Fig. 2), which is proportional to voltage drop across the resistor 1. The limiting friction mode corresponds to a constant value of 0,, 0 mV and a variable value of 0.1 - 0.2 mV, to the mixed friction mode - 0.1 to 0.5 mV and 0.1 - 0.2 mV; liquid at the end of the burn-in - practice
