The invention 'relates to electrical engineering and can be used to connect various devices to a coaxial cable.
The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability.
In FIG. 1 shows a device, a General view; in FIG. 2 - conical end of the contact element.
5.The device consists of a housing 1, in which a strap 2 is fixed, made of insulating material. In the strap 2, metal liners 3 with a threaded hole are installed. One contact element 4 or 5 is wrapped in each insert. An insulating strip 6 is laid on the strip 2. Then all this is fixed with a bracket 7 in the housing 1 with screws 8. In the housing I there is a groove for cable 9 and through holes, perpendicular to the cable axis into which the contact elements 4 and 5 pass.
The housing is closed by a cover 10, in which there is also a groove for fixing the cable 9 in the device. On the lateral planes of the cover 10, there are two curly grooves that are used to fasten the cover 10 to the housing 1 using two axes 11. The shanks. Axis 11 have a slot for a screwdriver and have different sizes along mutually perpendicular axes. When rotated 90 ° in the grooves of the cover 10 of the axes 11, they fix it in a certain position. For capturing the entire device to the electronic unit or the supporting structure, two captive screws 12 are provided. Contact elements 4 are cylindrical with conical conical ends. Both the cylindrical and conical parts are threaded with the same pitch. The thread profile at the conical end varies from triangular to trapezoidal in direction from the base to the top of the cone, and the height of the thread profile decreases to zero at the top of the cone.
The contact elements 4 are installed with the possibility of reciprocating movement perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cable 9, and thus offset in the transverse direction from the longitudinal axis of the cable 9 by 1/4 of the diameter of the Central conductor c. different sides.
40°.The length of the conical end is approximately two diameters of the center conductor of cable 9. The angle at the apex of the cone is selected from 30 to 40 °.
1.Behind the conical end is a section of the contact element 4, covered with insulation, the length of which is equal to half the outer diameter of the cable 9. Behind this section is a thread with which the contact element 4 is installed in the housing 1.
The contact elements 4 are made of solid metal, followed by heat treatment and a surface coating of solid silver or gold, to obtain a reliable contact connection, depending on the operating conditions and hardness of the cable 9 used in the connection, i.e., its insulating and shielding layers.
12.To connect the device to the cable, it is necessary to lay the cable 9 in the groove of the housing 1, close it with the cover 10. After installing the cover 10 on the housing 1, fix it by turning the two axes 11 through 90 ° with a screwdriver. Then, using the socket wrench, screw the contact elements 4 and 5 all the way. After that, the entire device can be mounted on the electronic unit or on another design with screws 12.
Thus, the contact element 4 cuts into the lateral surface of the conical end,. threaded with a special profile into the central conductor and establishes reliable contact, since it has a large contact spot area, cuts oxide films on the surface and is well fixed by threading in the cable body 9 and on its central core.
This contact element resists shock loads, shaking, and aggressive environments, which compares favorably with other contacts of a similar type.
Thus, the design of the contact elements and the features of their installation increase the reliability of the device.
